Resources

Knowledge today. Brighter tomorrows.

Everything published about Zynaut Pathways is on this site, written as pages you can read now. Here they are, arranged by what you want to understand — with the words defined, and with what is not here yet said plainly.

Glossary

The words this site uses, defined once.

Exact among engineers, and a wall to everyone else — so each is defined here in plain words.

  • EvidenceSomething that happened and can be pointed to: a piece of work, a result, an observation by someone in a position to make it. Every piece keeps where it came from and when.
  • ClaimA statement about what a person can do, derived from evidence. A claim can always be traced back to the evidence behind it, and it changes when the evidence does.
  • RecordThe whole set of a person's evidence and claims, held for that person and carried with them for as long as they choose to keep it.
  • VerifiedOn this page, verified means the issuer behind an entry has confirmed it. It is a fact about that one entry, never a grade of the person — and an entry that is not verified still counts, as your own word, marked as such.
  • IssuerWhoever stands behind a piece of evidence — a school, an employer, an examining body, a person who observed the work. Evidence keeps its issuer.
  • Confidence bandHow strongly a claim is supported by its evidence. It describes the evidence, never the person: a weak band means thin evidence, not a weak person. Bands are never added up into one number and never compared between people.
  • Consented viewOne filtered picture of a record that its owner chose to share with a named recipient, for a stated purpose, for a limited time — and can withdraw.
  • Contest routeThe way a person challenges a conclusion the record has reached. Every conclusion has one, and a person, not the system, reads the challenge.
  • Re-entryA new goal restarting the five stages against a record that is now larger. The lifecycle is re-entered, not completed.

What is not here yet

No downloads, no webinars, no newsletter.

There are no guides to download, no recorded webinars and no newsletter. None is published yet, and no email address is collected for one. When something of that kind exists, it will be listed on this page — and it will be a thing you can actually open.

There is no blog and there are no dated posts. What the site says about Pathways is said on the pages above, and kept current as the design changes.

If a question is not answered on any page, ask it through the contact form. A person replies — and the answer may become a page.

Three questions people arrive with

Asked most, answered first.

All questions
  • Is Pathways a test?

No. A test can be one piece of evidence in the record, but it is never the way in. You begin with your goals and with what you already know you can do.

  • Who can see my record?

You, and whoever you choose to show one view of it to, for a stated purpose, for as long as you allow. An institution or programme sees aggregates, built so no individual is exposed — never your record itself, and you only under a permission you granted. A parent or guardian, under a recorded permission, sees how the record is growing and what it suggests next — never the evidence itself.

  • Is it available now, and what does it cost?

Not yet. An implementation exists and is being built against, but it is not generally available and no date is claimed. Pricing is not published for the same reason.
