Getting started

What it is, and whether you can use it.

  • What is Zynaut Pathways?

A record of what you can actually do — built from real evidence, owned by you, and shown only to the people you choose. It is not a test, a job board, a resume builder or a course catalogue. You begin with your goals and with what you already know you can do.

  • Who can use Zynaut Pathways?

It is designed for the person first — students, job seekers and people at work — and then for everyone around them: parents and guardians by invitation, schools and colleges at programme level, counsellors and mentors by assignment, employers as recipients, and government programmes as sponsors who see aggregates. Each has its own page, saying what it gets and what it can never do.

  • Is it available now, and what does it cost?

Not yet. An implementation exists and is being built against, but it is not generally available and no date is claimed. Pricing is not published for the same reason.

  • How do I get started?

There is no account to create today. Join the interest list and a person writes to you when a deployment opens that you can use. If your school, college, employer or programme already runs Pathways, use the sign-in address they gave you. Organisations can ask to see the design on a real build.

Talent Passport & the record

What the record is, and what it holds.

  • What is a Talent Passport?

The shareable view of your record — not the product, and not a document you write about yourself. When you show someone what you can do, you send one view of your record, for a stated purpose, for as long as you allow, with every claim traceable to its evidence and the issuer behind it. You can take it back.

  • What is in my record?

Your goals and where you are heading, in your own words. Every piece of evidence you add, each keeping its source. The claims derived from that evidence, and how strongly each is supported. Every view you shared, with whom, for what purpose and until when. And the advice a counsellor, mentor or adviser gave you, in its place. All of it is visible to you.

  • Does it replace my certificates, or records I already hold elsewhere?

No. It is designed to sit above the records you already hold, not to replace them. A certificate remains a certificate; here it becomes one piece of evidence with its issuer attached.

  • What happens to my record when I leave my school, college or employer?

It stays yours. The record is held for you and travels with you. The institution's view of you was bounded to begin with, and it ends with the programme.

Evidence & assessments

What counts, who stands behind it, and what a test is for.

  • What counts as evidence?

Something that happened and can be pointed to. A piece of work, attested by whoever set, received or reviewed it. A test or exam result, by the body that set it. Performance someone watched, by the person who watched it. A certificate, by the institution that issued it. And your own declaration — marked as your own word.

  • Is Pathways a test?

No. A test can be one piece of evidence in the record, but it is never the way in. You begin with your goals and with what you already know you can do.

  • Does it give me a score?

No. Nothing rates you as a person. What it states is how strongly each claim is supported by evidence, claim by claim, with the reasoning shown.

  • How is evidence verified?

Verified means the issuer behind an entry has confirmed it — the school, the employer, the examining body, or the person who observed the work. It is a fact about that one entry, never a grade of you. An entry that is not verified still counts, as your own word, and is marked as such.

  • Does my college or employer need to take part before my evidence counts?

No. You can add evidence yourself and say where it came from; it counts as your own word until whoever stands behind it confirms it. Which institutions take part, and when, is not claimed yet.

Privacy & sharing

Who can see what, and what you can do about it.

  • Who can see my record?

You, and whoever you choose to show one view of it to, for a stated purpose, for as long as you allow. An institution or programme sees aggregates, built so no individual is exposed — never your record itself, and you only under a permission you granted. A parent or guardian, under a recorded permission, sees how the record is growing and what it suggests next — never the evidence itself.

  • Can an employer find me?

No. There is no search, no browsing and no ranking of people. An employer only ever receives what you chose to send them, and you can withdraw it.

  • Is my record used to train Zynaut's models?

Not by default, and not as a by-product of use. Nothing leaves an offering without a declared purpose, a lawful basis and a permission covering that use. How data and permission are handled between offerings is set out in full under Responsible intelligence.

  • What if I disagree with what it says?

Every conclusion carries a route to contest it, and a person reads the challenge. The record also shows which evidence it counted, which it did not, and why.

  • How does it work for my child?

A guardian can be invited under a recorded permission that can be ended. You see how the record is growing and what it suggests next — never the underlying evidence, and never a comparison with other children.

For institutions & employers

Deployments, aggregates, and what an employer ever sees.

  • Do schools, colleges or enterprises get their own deployment?

That is the design. A deployment carries the organisation's own name and its own sign-in, with the same record and the same rules about who can and cannot see it. Which institutions take part, and when, is not claimed yet. The first white-label deployment is being built for India, under its own name.

  • I am an employer. How would I ever see a record?

Only when a person sends you a view of their record, after they approached you, not before. You cannot search for people. What you receive is their evidence, who stands behind each piece, and how strongly each claim is supported. Comparing candidates remains your judgement, not the record's.

  • Where does a college placement office fit?

As an adviser a student chooses, and through the institution's aggregate view of its own programme. A placement office gains no search over students, and the record does not replace the placement process a college already runs. It is what a student can bring to it.

  • Who has to agree before someone under eighteen holds a record?

Not yet published. The design records a guardian's permission alongside the person's own, and either can end it. The rule for who must agree, and at what age, belongs to each deployment and will be stated with it.

  • What is shown for a group too small to hide anyone in it?

Not yet decided, and it will be stated before any programme uses this. The commitment is that an aggregate never lets anyone be picked out. What is shown for a group too small for that to hold is a rule still to be published.
