For Advisers, Counsellors & Mentors

Guide with clarity. Create brighter futures.

You are assigned to named people under a permission each of them holds, with what you can and cannot see published to both of you. You see the gap a person is working on and the reasoning behind it — and the advice you give becomes part of their record.

From a conversation to a recorded next step

How Zynaut Pathways supports your work

Five steps, each starting from the person's own choice.

See the full lifecycle
  1. 1. Be chosen

A person assigns you, under a permission they hold. What each of you can see is published to both before anything is shared.

  2. 2. Read the gap

You see where the person says they are heading, what their evidence currently supports, and the one gap that matters most.

  3. 3. Understand the reasoning

Every suggested next step shows why — which evidence counted, which did not, and what would change the picture.

  4. 4. Advise

Your advice is yours, given in your words. It is kept in the person's record beside the gap it addressed.

  5. 5. Introduce, when asked

If the person asks you to make an introduction, you make it. Nobody is put in front of anyone they did not choose to approach.

Better conversations

Better conversations. Better decisions.

What you see, what you add, and what the design keeps from you — stated before the first conversation.

  • What you seeThe gap, the reasoning, and how strongly each claim is supported — a fact about the evidence, never a verdict on the person.
  • What you never seeRaw evidence — the files, the marks, anything the person entered in their own words — unless they show it to you themselves.
  • What you addAdvice, in your words, with your name on it. The person reads it, keeps it, and can act on it or not.
  • What you never doGrade, certify, diagnose or rank anyone. The record holds no score of a person for you to produce or to read.

Illustrative journeys

What advising looks like here

Three journeys the design is built around — a school, a workplace and a college.

  • A young man in a turban sits at a table with a laptop, helping a young woman who is writing in a notebook, in warm daylight.Illustrative journey

    A school counsellor

Is chosen by a student who wants to move from science into design. She sees that his evidence already supports more than he thinks, and the one gap it does not. Her advice — one project, done properly — is kept beside that gap.

  • Two professionals stand together at a laptop on a stand, one typing while the other leans in and smiles, in a modern office.Illustrative journey

    A workplace mentor

Mentors a colleague changing direction after years in one role. He sees what her work already supports, and the reasoning behind the next step. He never sees her appraisals, and he does not need to.

  • A woman in a grey dress holding a blue folder gestures mid-conversation with a seated colleague in a bright glass-walled office.Illustrative journey

    A college careers adviser

Is asked by a final-year student to introduce her to a programme. He makes the introduction, scoped to the view she chose to share. The student reaches outward; nobody searched for her.

Illustrative journeys, written to show what the design is for. Zynaut Pathways is in development and no customer story, testimonial or measured outcome is published yet.

Advice from a person

The system does not advise. You do.

Zynaut Pathways is not career counselling and does not pretend to be. It shows what a person's evidence currently supports, the one gap that matters, and what would close it. The direction to face is a conversation between two people — and the record keeps a place for it.

  • What you can and cannot see is published to both of you
  • Confidence is stated about the evidence, claim by claim
  • Improvement counts for more than where the person stands today
  • Your advice is kept in the person's own record
  • No chatbot stands in for you
Guidance tells you which direction to face. The record shows what your evidence supports.

Questions advisers ask

Before the first conversation

All questions
  • How do I get assigned to someone?

The person assigns you, under a permission they hold and can end. Before anything is shared, what you can see and what you cannot is published to both of you. You cannot browse for people, and nobody is assigned to you without their own act.

  • Can I see a person's assessment results or evidence?

No. You see the gap they are working on, the reasoning behind the suggested next step, and how strongly each claim is supported. The evidence itself, and anything entered in the person's own words, stays with them unless they choose to show it to you.

  • Does the system recommend a career path for me to pass on?

It shows what the evidence currently supports and the one gap that matters, with the reasoning. The direction to face is your conversation. Guidance comes from a person, and the record keeps a place for the advice you give.

  • Can I track outcomes across everyone I advise?

No. There is no dashboard of people, no caseload view and no impact figure. Each assignment is a permission held by one person, and the design keeps them separate on purpose.
